Storskogen's subsidiary SGD acquires Höganäs Träprofiler

Höganäs Träprofiler was founded in 1992 and has its roots in the family business Janelist. Since 2006, the company has been owned and run by Henrik Sjöström and Johan Karlén, both of whom have solid experience in mouldings, wooden floors and equipment. The company mainly sells to large and medium-sized construction projects, but the product range is also carried by some of Sweden’s largest construction department stores. Höganäs Träprofiler also manufactures custom mouldings in accordance with the customer’s wishes. The raw material that the company uses always comes from a certified and environmentally adapted forestry.

Fredrik Alfredsson, CEO of SGD, believes that the acquisition of Höganäs Träprofiler is another step in SGD’s ambition to become the supplier with the widest range of flooring in Sweden.

“With Höganäs Träprofiler, SGD will broaden its product offering, which means that we will become an even more complete supplier of flooring, primarily in the renovation and extension segment. SGD will also contribute to Höganäs Träprofiler reaching a larger national base of customers who already work with SGD today”, says Fredrik Alfredsson, CEO of SGD.

SGD is part of Storskogen’s vertical Home and Living, within business area Trade. Höganäs Träprofiler is the twelfth add-on acquisition for SGD since the company became a part of Storskogen in 2018. The acquisition was completed on 8 June 2022.
